Help to educate our seniors
“As individuals, we can help to explain policies and world events to our elderly parents and neighbours, who may not be able to catch split-second advertisements and announcements on radio and TV; or are not literate enough to read the news.”
Keep them digitally connected
“At the community level, more can be done to roll out useful apps and share relevant group chats with the elderly so they can be better informed of national policies and initiatives.”
Engage the elderly
“We can reach out to them when they are gathered in groups at wet markets or kopitiams, where they would be more open to conversation and chit-chat.”
