Make mentorship more accessible
“Mentorship programmes should be more widely available to the community.
They should be accessible not only to youths but also to mid-career professionals and unemployed individuals.”
More Singaporeans should do this
“We need more volunteer-driven initiatives, where people carve out time to share useful tips, connections, and experiences with their community.”
Go beyond career mentoring
“These mentorships can also go beyond those in professional careers, and include long-time volunteers guiding those who are keen to start volunteering.”
How I benefited from youth programmes
“I joined grassroots activities in my early 20s, and benefited from the youth programmes. So I know how important it is for people to be pointed in the right direction at critical junctures in their lives.”
